TED SCOTT JOINS ARCHITECTURE SARASOTA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Architecture Sarasota is proud to announce the appointment of Ted Scott, PE, to its Board of Directors. Ted is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 40 years of experience in water resources engineering, stormwater management, and stream restoration.
Now a part-time resident of Sarasota, Ted's introduction to the local architectural landscape has been defined by his restoration of Stuart Rae House. After purchasing the home with his wife, Jennifer Rauhofer, shortly before it sustained damage from Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Ted applied his deep respect for historic architecture and knowledge of water resources engineering to the preservation of this Ralph Twitchell-designed gem. Ted sees the architecture of Sarasota as a rare treasure that demands a creative synthesis of historic stewardship and modern engineering to survive and thrive for future generations.
