DESIGN WITHIN REACH GRAND OPENING
Architecture Sarasota and MOD Weekend’s newest sponsor, Design Within Reach, will host a private Grand Opening Celebration for the company’s Sarasota Studio on Thursday, November 13 at 6:00 PM at the UTC Mall, 140 University Town Center Drive, Unit 154. The invitation-only event will feature hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and cocktails. Guests must RSVP by emailing jtoste@dwr.com or using the button below.

ARCHITECTURE SARASOTA RECEIVES DOCOMOMO US ADVOCACY CITATION OF MERIT
The Restoring a Sense of Place Disaster Recovery Program has been honored with the Docomomo US 2025 Modernism in America Award, Citation of Merit for its quick and forward-thinking response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024.
Within 72 hours of Hurricane Helene, Architecture Sarasota mobilized a comprehensive strategy to support owners and stewards of historic structures through five key initiatives: documentation, assessments, information sharing, emergency landmark determinations, and adaptation.
